For years -if not decades- I've been intrigued over the paint-scheme and overall concept of the original Tamiya Toyota Bruiser. There was something familiar about it. Well, checking some old magazines tonight I finally come across this pulling truck from 1983, the Blue Ox. What do you think? :D

Excellent find, well done. Certainly looks like it, the sides and the bonnet.

How cool.

ps. And the engineering company on the side in similar font.

Bingo! I do believe you found it. You know, decades ago, I used to plow snow at the shop I worked at with an International like the one in last pic. Of course mine had a plow on the front and not a bunch of weight ;).

Makes me wonder if Bud Jaske --the owner of the Blue Ox- ever knew about the Tamiya Bruiser. I believe he would have had a serious case against the double-star company...
