I like something on in the background - either an old nostalgic favourite or something more up to date.

For me the nostalgic one is Supertramp live in Paris, as that's what was on while I was building my first scorcher in the early '80s. Great double album and one of the best live band recordings ever IMO.

Recent builds I've had on the latest Richard Ashcroft album "These People".

What's yours ?

It's usually TV for me, actually. My RC10 re-re was built to a Cowboy Bebop marathon, and earlier this year I banged out a DT02 chassis in a couple episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And somewhere on here there's a photo of a half-finished FAV with Mythbusters in the background.

It's 80's movies for me.

It used to be a bit of a thing on my build threads years ago, to try and figure out what movie was on in the background.

I have a Sony CD player with a carousel which takes 400 CD's - loaded up with 60's / 70's / 80's stuff - just click the play button and let it run B)

Todays selection was some Thin Lizzy & Nazareth.

Melbourne Bounce, OLd Skool Happy Hardcore or some uplifitng trance..... of if my baby daughter is in the room playing it's anything that's on Children's TV ;p

I did build my HCT while trying to watch The Goonies, but that awesome 80's film is sooo distracting!

I'm an old rocker. My first love were KISS followed by the british metal band in the early '80s and the USA hair/glam metal band.

But when I assemble a model I want absolute and religious silence.

If screen: the original trilogy is a safe bet. The arc of the 12th doctor is nice as well. I know, I'm a slow builder.

When music: lately it's been Car Seat Headrest, Television Personalities and the Silver Jews. And inspired by mastino I think the Ring cycle will be the sound track to my christmas build. That gives me about 12 hours to finish.

Recently my favourite build music have been Motorhead and Volbeat.

Not familiar with Volbeat but gotta love a bit of Motorhead :-)

Listened to some Golden Earring, Sparks & Shocking Blue today.
