Tamiya CVAs are 95mm. You want good looking or great working?

Both!!! Lol, I love the cab shocks but have issues with them leaking from the cap.... I'd rather have aluminum bodied shocks.... and from Tamiya if possible

Do you want the moon on a stick at the same time?

Have the Boom racing and Absima shocks on mine and cheap £3.50 ones on my sons and find the springs are more important than the bodies.

Boom racing internal spring ones look the best but were a pain to fill

hah i just want a 90-95mm aluminum Tamiya shock ;)

In other news..... I basically put the truck body all back together for nothing as I called the not so LHS to see if they would return/exchange some unused paints I bought from them and they were happy to so I ran up there to get it done before too much time passed by and got their last two semi-gloss black cans....  I also picked up other goodies but also a couple of parts trees came in (also the same for the Baja Champ and Baja King). The bearings i ordered a month ago still have not arrived so the last two axles will have plastic bearings in them until they arrive...... and all the rcs on the shelf will still look like theyre missing parts till then.boooooooooooo.

I decided to go with a pair of GoolRC 21t motors for power. I have been using them in my CW01 and.............. another car that I can think of at the moment and they work quite well, especially for 10 dollars shipped each. So much so that I am thinking of scooping up 2 sensored BL motors from them too.... a 13.5 and a 21.5t to see how they work... theyre a little more (30-35ish each).

I will then be waiting on shocks once I pick some out and also finishing the body and taking the haze out of the tires.

Well a whole month later the ball bearings finally came in :(

truck now has full bearings and I was able to put all the wheels back on the 2wd vehicles on my shelves.....

I have now sanded down the body for coat 3-5 in hopes of getting out those hairline scratches. I still havent ordered shocks nor heated up the tires to remove the white haze on them but I got my motors in and need to solder wires and it dawned on me that I need to order pinions too :( its coming down to the little things for this gut to get finished but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

do the wild dagger, the twin detonator, and blackfoot xtreme all share the same chassis?

Crikey this thread is a blast from the past.

They all share the same basic chassis but the Wild Dagger and Twin Detonator run two gearboxes.

Yes. You'll need the complete gearbox (same as the rear), a pair of front drive shafts and pair "drive cup" style front axles to mate with the drive shafts. The BF3 has MA13 "free wheel shafts" as standard which don't mate up to any driveshafts.

looking at a blackfoot 3.  can you add a second gearbox, run dual motors, and have it as a 4wd, if you have the right esc?

You can as Saito2 states but you have to think why you are doing it. I have had both 2WD and 4 and found the 4 less fun to drive. The extra weight stunts the driving and jumping and the extra gearbox adds no extra speed.

You are limited to motor choice because one runs backwards.

I have a NIB Bush Devil III if you are looking for a base WT-01. I also have a new spare gearbox if you wanted to go down this route.
