i hope everyones not sick of my astute questions[|)], but its all i got, so here's another....

i'm running it with an old kyosho gold motor(unsure how many turns), with a 16 tooth pinion and a 77 tooth spur.

is this pinion too small?

would a larger pinion create more speed?

any suggestions on a modern motor that really rips?

Hi Bill,

The kit came with a 23 tooth pinion, and I think it was meant to run with the 70t spur. However that was with the kit 540. Personally I dropped it down a couple of gears (20/21 tooth pinion) and slapped in a mild 17 turn £20 modified and it now nips along nicley.
