Hello,

I already posted some comments, but missed to introduce myself: Chris (i.e. Christian) age 39 from Germany. As a teenager, I used to build static 1/24 Tamiya kits (e.g. Porsche 935, Toyota Celica Gr. 5, Audi Quattro. I also had a 1/14 RC Jet Hopper, but "real" RC cars like Grasshopper were too expensive. Some years ago, I got into Tamiya RC cars. Cutting and painting bodies is not my favorite job, so I rather go for XB models and modify the chassis (change ESC, change Servo, change receiver). I also prefer a classic stick radio instead of modern wheel radios. Right now, the collection consists of about 40 cars. Pure speed isn't the main desire, I am rather interested in racing cars with beautiful shells, Group 5 and DTM cars and also some rally cars and buggys.

Other hobbies are slotcars (both modern & vintage) and Lego (mainly vintage: technic, trains, classic town).
