Hi there to everyone.

As the title says, I'm new to the world of r/c and I've just bought a Plasma Edge ll as I like the look of it and it seems to be a good place to start.

This forum looks good too, lots of enthusiasm and knowledge here.

When I was in my teens I always spent a long time looking at the r/c pages in the Tamiya catalogue but never got around to ownership and then I started work and found other interests to spend my hard earned cash..

My interest was re awakened when I bought a r/c car for my girlfriend's son for Christmas and had a few go's with it just to check things over :) and that was that.

I've not started to build the ' Edge as yet but I've ordered a few hop ups to make the build more interesting. I hope to put the pieces together weekend after next and I'm going with the stock colour scheme.

When it's finished I'll post up a few pics.

Cheers all

Jez

Not sure if I've put this in the right place

Thanks for the welcome guys :). Does anyone have pics of their Plasma Edge  they can post for inspiration..?

Welcome to the club!

Have a look at the model database: http://tamiyaclub.com/cars.asp

The DF-02 chassis Gravel Hound and Plasma Edge are virtually identical to each other as far as I know, apart from the different decals. You can find pictures of other member's cars when clicking on member rides:

The Plasma Edge II is on the TT-02B chassis, though. I guess the shell was slightly altered to fit the new chassis?

That's great, thanks for the link Greg, I'm in China  for another week or so and the internet is a bit slow to load here and sometimes images aren't displayed. When I get home I'll be having a good look around

Also thanks to M 800STD :D
