I was looking for a JunFac rear mount - and saw an alternative on ebay as JunFac had sold out , the other version on ebay looked ok , but then I thought as I had the materials and tools here already I'll make my own . I used the original Tamiya plastic one as a template and used it as a backing plate behind the alu plates when mounting it all up , marked it out onto aluminium plate , cut it out x 2 then cut and tapped some 6mm alu rod and bob's your uncle , I had to shave off the outer raised damper mount part of the original black Tamiya D part to allow the alu plate to sit flat , all works well , is sturdy and looks ok I think . Anyone can make one with basic tools and a 3mm tap

Thanks for the comment :)

If you use the original D parts then you don't need to make the spacers etc . I used 2mm alu sheet as I already had it and the 6mm rod is from B&Q , but I had that already and the ebay one uses 6mm anyway
