dose any one know if i can fit a blackfoot shell on a clodbuster cos i really like the blackfoot shell but really like the clod chassis

I have a King Blackfoot body on one of my Bullhead chassis: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...=18252&sid=2193

It needed a few extra holes for the body mounts. I'm not sure but I think the original Blackfoot has a slightly shorter wheelbase? I can check later.

i think it would look a bit short IMHO.

but if you really like the blackfoot look, you could have a go at making a custom clod chassis that suits the length of blackfoot shell, i think that would look awsome [8D]

i think ive become so obsessed thinking up custom clod chassis designs in my head that i forgot the easiest option! [:I][]

so yes extending the shell would probably be the best way to go []

The Blackfoot wheelbase is about 250mm - same as the King Blackfoot. The Clod is something like 270mm. My KBF has not been stretched and doesn't look too bad. Probably because the body is up so high and there is only 10mm offset at each end.
