Is the grease the kit stuff or aftermarket stuff as i used Robbie grease on my bruiser build and grand hauler also.

And a tundra will be mine when i have the spare cash also

And i blame Matteo also for my buying my bruiser but in a good way his videos are the best

Looks great so far. What's your plan for the body?

been thinking about the tundra for a while, colour decided long ago! Pretty much box art but slightly different shade

Grease is kit stuff, probably should've used alternative!

i watched Matteo's tundra videos and couldn't resist getting one any longer! :D

Body now painted but could do with another couple of coats, unfortunately need another can

still waiting for servo so built a few of the body parts up. Not using the stock wheels and tyres but fitted tyres to new wheels for a quick look...

not 100% decided on tyres, few contenders but in no rush

The tyre's look great ...Are they soft compound. The wheels look nice but for me I would paint the wheels a different colour .

Tyres are stock, softer than the cc01 tyres but not as soft as I'd choose. Still need to decide what tyres I'm going to go for

You'll want a slightly taller tire than stock to give it more ground clearance.  With the stock tires, the diff covers will hang up on a few rocks

My thoughts entirely. I tried my Mickey Thomson Baja Claws and they look a touch too big, they are 106mm. probably a tyre around 100mm would be right.

All electrics now fitted, 3 speed shift all sorted and works a treat, majority of the build completed, just a few cosmetic bits to finish.

Free time been short over last week but managed to source some 9v LEDs and a rummage through the man cave found wires, heat shrink, braiding and a switch. Couple of beers, music and soldering iron fired up....... commence Operation Light-up!  ::lolz

Front has 2 x 3mm blue, 2 x 3mm and 2 x 5 mm white, rear 2 x 3mm white, rear lights painted with tamiya clear red

After doing the head lights and rear lights, I couldn't help thinking should I do spots or roll bar lights....then I thought no, I'll leave it as it is. Bank holiday and as they say devil makes work for idle hands  ::doh::  ::lolz

Bit more of a job than I expected and probably added a kilo in wire, solder and bits  ::lolz

Well.... I think that's about it folks, build done and I can wholeheartedly say I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Love or hate the high lift I'm really chuffed how it's ended up and I've stretched my limited talents with this build :)

I loved my high lift. Sold it a few years back and always regret it. Made a custom blackfoot body for it at first then a Willys jeep pickup body for it. It was a lot of fun.
