Super Astute damper oil seals?

Hi all,

Does the Super Astute grey dampers share generic parts with any other kits? I ripped an oil seal while changing my shock oil, so in need of replacing this. Damned thing is so brittle.

The grey dampers are unique to the Super Astute but apart from the colour they are just standard Tamiya dampers which you will find on many kits of this era.

The red 3mm O rings are standard parts - P/N 2995006

Yeah its the top seal that is funny green.

The manual says it's black oil seals for the rear and grey for the fronts? Do they turn green over time?

It's the grey fronts I was thinking of.  Black should be easy to get hold of and maybe sub in top seals from CVAll shocks or a re-re.  Does the Super Hot Shot or Bigwig have mini's in the front ? I don't know
