teu101bk setup help

hi all

anyone else had problems settting up these teu101bk esc before?

downloaded the setup manual,followed to the setup description,no matter what i do,it dont work,just keeps flashing/blinking

im very near to setup with big hammer!

What radio are you trying to setup to?

Have you tried flicking the Servo Reverse switch for ch2 then trying setup again?

When you mean keeps flashing... does it change at all?

Is the motor connected? Because it uses the motor as a speaker, you can't hear the "bip..bip..bip" if no motor is connected...  ... the "bip..bip..bip" tells you the RX is unresponsive, not outputting any signal. 

If RX is on failsafe mode (alive but no TX signal received), it still outputs a signal and ESC won't  "bip..bip..bip".

what radio are you using... what RX model and does it have BEC?

show a pic of your chassis layout if poss

not to worry,acoms handset im using,think it knarkard,,flashes are the same no matter what i do,when motor is connected it just bleeps constantly

on the look out now for new esc

has it worked before in the past?

check that RX says "BEC"... some modern RX goes dormant if it gets too high voltage from ESC (101 has no BEC)... so it just plays dead rather than going up in smoke.

Could try running RX off 4xAA battery box if you've still got it.

had a few of those in the past,dont like them,just flashes and bleeps

some times they work,,and they dont,,,,,yes hammer time! had less fuss with cheap and nasties esc,,must be old tamiya esc that have the problems,,got 2 others the same that work perfect just this one dont wonner play ball

I would still check the Tx and Rx before threatening it with a hammer!

if its beeping , that says to me that its working, just not getting a signal to work with....

Or...get a Quicrun 1060 for about 18 quid.... BUT if the radio is knackered, you still wont have a "working" ESC!

hi,handset and receiver work perfect,just got esc off my brother and all good and running,,,so its not radio gear at fault
