What happened to Speed Passion?

Anyone know what happened to Speed Passion?

Stock seems to be running out everywhere and the website (http://www.speedpassion.net) has just gone away.

It's a shame, I quite liked my Reventon brushless combo.

It would seem they are done. Nothing new in ages, been using the Reventon series for years too. I noticed the low stock around mid last year and started converting over to Hobbywing. I remember being able to buy a Reventon R with a 3.0 motor for around $90, now they are either gone, or the sellers are trying to capitalize on the stock they have on hand. It is a shame indeed.

Sad to see SP go but something must have been afoot for them to clear out all that bargain Reventon stock 2yrs ago...

Gone, and given how long their website had been effectively down/parked (even when you could access it) something had been amiss for a couple of years at least. 

Can't be an easy industry to remain in when you rely on a global market.
