Vintage Tyres Quiz

Recommended Posts

As a kid I got bought a tamiya thunder dragon. It came with a box of tyres which are not for the thunder dragon and I don't have a clue what they are for so I thought I have a bit of fun and do a quiz for naming the car that matches the tyres. Also means I eventually find out more about them (hopefully) :) more pics of tyres to follow

HOT LAPS is Yokomo's idea of tyre brandname. ^_^

They're sold as an option/sparepart, popular amongst many racers & not necessarily unique belonging to any 1 car afaik.

Your 2 pictured look like they're 2.0" size (aka Hotshot/OptimaMid era). Yokomo might've supplied that size in YZ10 870C kits.

lol. Thank you. What a painful process for 2 photos. Hopefully what I've done works.  I'm on the laptop and photobucket wasn't playing ball so tried it on mobile and it worked. I kept getting a 200 error when uploading to Tamiyaclub. Now I've just tried to upload my photobucket URL and I just get a red validation box but doesn't tell me why it doesn't like the URL :o:angry:

Right hopefully this works. Please let me know how you all get on or whether there is anything wrong with what I've done.

I found it didn't work with 'internet explorer' , but worked fine on 'chrome'.

Tbh, I've not used a laptop (the old fashioned way 🙄) for ages, as it's so easy using a mobile! 😎

If you follow my instructions-, share, get links, then copy the IMG for forums link.

Yeah I tried to copy the IMG for photo link but that's the bit that wasn't working on the laptop and the mobile site I couldn't even sign up. Seems that a combination of old and new worked :) thanks for your help
