Maelstrom 439 Posted April 1, 2017 Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can!t seem to find the right answer Usein the search function. I recently got my hands on a nice Hotshot II. Some parts are missing, but I have managed to locate spares for most of them. My problem is that one of the front drive shafts is missing. Could you guys please tell me which drive shaft I can use as an alternative? Is there an alternative in one of the re-re-kits? Or do I have to wait until original Hotshot II spares turn up? Thanks! WillyChang 1812 Posted April 1, 2017 It's been a while since wrenching on these at LHS but pretty sure you can use an original Boomerang/Bigwig dogbone or one from the rear of an original Hotshot. But nothing from any re-re as the new dogbone knob is different sized, unless you also change all the cups to suit.
Tamiyabigstuff 830 Posted April 1, 2017 I think the HS2 driveshafts are spare part number 50299 I have some NIP spares - drop me a PM if interested.

I highly recommend TBS for spares He sorted me out with a few HS2 & SHS parts. Don't go re-re parts as they are different sizes.
