Guys, I just talked to Tower and they know nothing about it. I told them that I would keep checking back with them. I am going to call them toward the end of second week in December, just to give some time to materialize on this side of the world.

Hoping, Waiting............

Ok guys, just bought meself 2 sets of rear tires (Hornet) from JR-RC for $9.50 a set. Gotta be happy with that. Obviously he's got these as the 'spares' replacements for our new Hornet....

They'll probably get even cheaper, but I don't care, sub-$10 for these Buggy Spike Tires is just too good....[;)]

Just checked out JR-RC and bought myself a full set of Hornet tires and rims. What a deal! Has anyone else seen the picture of the rims? They look a little shiney and hard..I wonder if they are making them out of a different plastic?

I'm really happy Tamiya re-release its cars. It should re-release all, as kit or as spares, I don't mind.

I'm happy cause in this way it smashes this ashaming business of old parts. 100US$ for a couple of wheels I think is over than too much!

And at the end I will continue to use old cars without the fear to consume or broke them.[:D][:D][:D][:D]

Cheers

LOLOLOL. Way back when,I drove my almost new frog on the street to give a little demo to a few friends. Had a technigold motor in it and just flew. A couple of battery packs later, the spikes had ventured off into never never land. Then the car "really hooked up".lololol. Almost like slicks on a dragster. One of the guys commented the tires looked like smarties. Not sure I have laughed that hard since. A golden moment in the life on an r/c crazy!!!

I wouldn't trust anything Toy Traders tell you - you only have to speak to their spare parts division once to see how much they don't know.......

Rainbow Ten has a pre-order listed on their site for 9800 YEN or about $95.00 USD. I sent them an email just to see what they say. Tower still has no clue. Someone over there (at Tower) needs to call Tamiya USA!!!
