M26 Pershing - About time I finished it!

Recommended Posts

I found the missing pieces :)

Tow cable now in place, crates, ammo boxes and jerry cans in the process of being painted...

Added binoculars to the commander

Details are brilliant.

Maybe add some spent ammo cases from the .50 cal?

Thanks!

spent cases would be awesome, where to get them though? I've seen an ammo can with the belt out and into the breach - can't find that anywhere either....

Sorry to hijack your post but wondered if you'd fancy coming to an rc tank meeting in Kent?

just occurred to me you might be local!

I'm not that local but would be interested in hearing more?

We meet once every two to three months in Tunbridge wells. Hire a big hall and around 10 - 20 people of all ages arrive and help to set scale scenery/village etc and have battles and timed driving courses.

We charge £10 per tank commander to cover the hall and tea/coffee etc.

Adam :)

An hour and 13 mins - not too bad - go in then! When's the next one? Better get it finished - do these things ever get finished? I'm starting to think they are an endless project :)

Love that remote! You should make badges like that for each tank version, i'd certainly buy em for my remotes.

I've got a long day on trains to collect my new car on Saturday :) so not going to make this one but please let me know when the next one is, I'll definitely be interested in taking it for a spin round some scale scenery :)

Thanks! I can't really take credit for making the badge as I found it on eBay and just stuck it on. I'm already thinking about the next tank and it's going to be some German opposition - zimmerite remote?!

Not until November - we have summer shows with the parent club around the south east but I will let you know.
