Hotshot Build (with hop-ups)

Recommended Posts

Basically £47 in total for a set of fronts and a set of rears. Steep. But droolworthy and solidly built..

 'hop up OCD beware' rating is 11/10....!

Shocks are made by Gmade, XD diaphragm shocks. I got them at fusion hobbies. Recommmended to me by @Mad Ax  (thanks again mate).

Glad to see they look good, I hope they perform well too.  I haven't got around to sorting my HS suspension yet, and with financial commitments for this year I probably won't get it sorted for a while.

Does anyone know if the 75 and 93mm gmade shocks will work on the super hotshot ?

FWIW this thread helped with my HS upgrade. The shots worked! I documented my progress here (2nd page):

@howaboutme thanks, much appreciated.

Do you remember the size of model number of the shocks? I can’t tell from your pic.

Hi @GeeWings not sure if you’re directing that question to me or not, but on my hotshot  the shock product references are:

GM22307 75mm

GM22107 93mm

There’s a pic on page 1 if that helps! :)

I think the rears were great, the fronts could’ve been a smidge longer travel.

Yes! The above is what I used. This thread was invaluable for my upgrade. Thanks to @ALEXKYRIAK for detailing it.
