TurnipJF 9192 Posted May 23, 2018 I read in @Blista's build thread that the rear body posts on the M-07 dont line up with the pre-drilled holes in Tamiya shells. Is this the case with all Tamiya m-chassis shells, or only some? If some fit without redrilling, which ones are they? And in the cases of those that don't fit, how far off are the posts from the holes?

And in the cases of those that don't fit, how far off are the posts from the holes? On the CRX the length between the pre-drilled holes is about 235mm and for the ones I've put in using the longer setting for the M07 body posts it's about 210mm. The M07 medium setting is 195mm (although that's just an estimate). I haven't got an M05 to check, but if I remember correctly the body posts had to be rotated backwards on the M05 chassis, making it a bit longer to fit the CRX. So some pre-drilled bodies might fit the M07. On eBay I've seen the GoPro Swift body set has pre-drilled holes, and looking at their position in relation to the rear wheel I'd say they'd fit the M07 but it's hit and miss figuring this out.
Bluecat68 4 Posted May 25, 2018 The Go Pro body shell from Tamiya fits the M07 in it's 225mm setting very well... no need to re-drill holes. I just finished doing this one.

TurnipJF 9192 Posted December 20, 2018 I started M-class racing with a M-03, then moved to the M-05 and it looks like Father Christmas got my letter as there is a suspiciously M-07-ish looking box waiting for me under the Christmas tree. I am looking forward to seeing how it compares to its FWD predecessors as an indoor carpet racer. What electronics are people running in their M-07s? And for those of you who run brushless, how long does the sensor cable have to be?
Fabia130vRS 2098 Posted February 15, 2019 I am thinking to buy the M07, price is with shipping about 160usd, is it worth waiting fornthe M07R what is the expected price difference? the M07 is also getting low on stock, is it the end of the first M07 concepts? kitefighter 45 Posted February 15, 2019 The HPI Datsun 510 also is a good fit on the M-07 chassis if you build it to 225 mm wheelbase.
Honza 937 Posted May 6, 2019 Hello, could someone measure centre-to-centre distance of front hinge pins for me? Thanks.
