Hi all,

New to this site and I just purchased a stock clodbuster to make a version of Awesome Kong. I have a question. What is this extra hole for that is near the anti-rotation bracket? It is only on one side of the chassis and the manual calls for nothing to be there.  You can see it here in the middle of the pic.

No the hole on the side of the chassis that is in a rectangle shape jutting out from the edge. It is only on one side. The dash marks in the pic kinda go right through that area.

On the sides of chassis tub, near where the battery pokes thru?

There's a smaller switch hole for RX on right side, battery hatch side.

mirrored across other side there's a larger hole for the slide series/parallel switch for MSC. Left side; Battery is retained by screwed on cup.

Do you mean the round hole about 3mm dia just below the small rectangle shaped hole ?

Just had a look on my Bullhead - seems to have this on both sides but on opposite sides of the centre of the chassis.

Got a feeling these holes are for securing the motor wires via cable ties - will have a look to see if I can find a vintage manual as the re-re manual does not seem to show this.

On my clod chassis that i just got. It jas an economy/ power switch. Is this not used on the modern set up. I only ask because this arrived with a mechanical speed control. I have my hobby wing 860 ready to go in once I put a battery plug on it. Hope this helps.
