Just looking through ebay, there seems to be an unusually high number of NIB Egress for sale. Are Tamiya planning on re-releasing this kit[?], so people are selling now, or is it just a coincidence[?]

Im tempted to buy one, but knowing my luck a new release would come out just after and devalue it by half...

Haven't heard any rumours, imho it'll be unlikely Egress will be re-released. It was a super expensive kit when new and given all its fancy goodies, it won't be cheap to manufacture today either.

There have been a lot lately, after there being none for months, quite a few Avantes have come up too. I think it's just because Christmas is coming and this is a good time to sell

Will have to keep an eye out for one. Would prefer the seller to be in the UK. Couldn't imaging the tax bill on one of those is stated correct on customs forms!!
