Flicking through the latest issue of Octane magazine last night (about full-size cars that I'll never be able to afford), there was an interesting article on this one-off contraption.

It's 8WD (but can be 6 or 4 at the pull of a lever) and 8WS too.  Sounds like a hilarious nightmare to drive, goes everywhere sideways whether you want it to or not.  It's called the Centipede, it was built in the 70's from 3 Jeeps and a Corvette motor.

I immediately thought of this place, get raiding your parts bins...
