Source for 1/10 scale v8 engine

I am building an awesome kong replica and my buddy is building king krunch. He needs a v-8 for the front. Do any of you guys know the source for one? This guy built a great rendition and I am having a hard time finding where he got the engine.

Parma used to make a 1/10th scale hemi engine kit.

There's a guy on here 'Trini2DBone' who has made a resin v8 for a scratch built model he's made ('Holden overlander' in the builds thread), perhaps he'd cast a few more if there is a demand ?

I was wondering if an 1/8 scale revell model kit would be too big as I can't seem to get and size dimensions on them.

If you look closely at that mock engine it seems to be a custom piece.

That looks like the Parma engine kit with modified exhausts.

I have one of these which was made up but it obviously wasn't put together very well as most of it has fallen apart.

A little off topic but...you know, I was going to make a joke about Parma discontinuing the Hemi engine kit along with the Blackfoot and Clod Buster lexan bodies (both of which are good sellers) when I checked out Tower's Parma section. There appears to be very little left that they offer at all. I wonder if Parma is soon to be a thing off the past?

If you can't find anything that'll do then tamiyabase has an article about scratch building a V8 motor. It looks like quite a fun project.

What Parma items have you bought recently? i cannot recall when/what's the last Parma item I've bought  

back in the 80s they even resold ShoeGoo with Parma label

Vintage Sponsor decal set for my truck. Really nice quality.  It wasn't from them directly so can't say if they're still going.

Duratrax do that now, obvious shoegoo in a clear plastic bag with duratrax stamped on it at my lhs, saved me going to number one shoes in town.

The Parma is a Hemi. King krunch ran a big block Chevy so the Hemi is out. Need a good scale Chevy big block.

I know you said it has to be a Chevrolet. If you read the description, he says: "If you would like more motors then are listed contact me through ebay messages.".

It might be worth sending him a message to see what else he has.

looks familiar  

they are not a Hemi or any particular scale model of any iconic V8, it's just a chromed lump sold as accessory for RIDEMAKERZ range of toy cars which included a Lightning McQueen of approx 1/18th scale

Doesn't look too bad once you've painted over most of the chrome to make it more realistic...

Have a look at this jaw-dropping video. At 3:44 you can see the King Krunch engine and also a look at the chassis:

I see they doesn't have a nice Awesome Kong II there!
