there is one for sale (hilux)with the motor missing what motor does it need will a 540 fit or will it need to be a special motor the gearbox is there

Hilux uses a stock 540 motor.

i just bid 370quid for a blazer and it got 525 is that the going rate or did someone just get a bit carried away

In mint condition with box etc ive seen them go for alot more than that .

I saw a mint hilux with radio and box etc go for over £1200 , which I thought was way over the top [:0]

I am asking $400 body has no visible cracks

tires have a little cracking but are still supple, I am in the middle of cleaning up the chassis and I have ball bearings in the wait, It needs new glass and buckets and lenses, and bumpers are missing but It does have a vintage radio that belongs to it(futaba ground conquest) interior is complete and all seems to be in working order the tranny shifts from 4 wheel to 2 wheel smoothly.
