TGX tires

Can anyone confirm if the onroad radial tires in the CC01 lowering kit 54625 are the same tires as the TGX tires please? I note a few sellers have TGX tires for sale but if these are the same tires the best option is to buy a CC01 lowering kit simply for the tires. Thanks.

Thanks. Have I missed this knowledge from previous posts as I have been keeping an eye out for years for TGX tires at a reasonable price and now see this is the cheapest way to buy them.Thanks for confirming Salvine.

I was in the same boat as you. Now for some slicks to be re-released.

Now that would be nice. I did stumble across some low profile slicks a number of years ago and have them stashed away for some rebiuilds. A fresh supply would be great.

Tamiya 9402840 which is a full tire set for 58627 from Tamiya USA for $15.50 are the same tire I have realised. Thanks to a fellow TC member in the US who ordered some for me and posted them on. It no longer costs an arm and a leg for some new radial tires for a TGX.
