I've a few web sites in my favourites.  I look tonight for best price, as its's in total disarray.

That would be great... thank you.

are they called LeMan type?

I'm not sure in the RC world what the most commonly used word is, but watching racing on TV they are Prototype cars. Currently officially badged as LMP1 "Lemans Prototype" so you are right to use LeMan, but usually referred to as Prototype class (to differentiate from GTE or GTLM class)

FYI

Maybe about a week ago I tried to send PM, similar time to when another member mentioned they could not make contact either.

Still have this issue?

Thanks for the helpful links, pity it's not available in the Uk to save on shipping.

Another member tried PM'ing me and no joy either, but I messaged him ok and he responded to my mail ok.... maybe it's new contact I can't receive? Sorry about that.

Yeah, mostly Europe.  Have not checked the shipping rates, hopefully not too bad.

That's ok, I just thought I would mention the PMing, just in case you weren't aware.

Now I have two new F103GT's..... yay!

ItAfNNt.jpg

This shell is what made me buy a second F103Gt as I'd given up waiting to find one and bought the NIssan first... then 3 days later this one came up so I had to get it......I'd really given up ever finding  an Advan Courage LC70 Mugen shell..... I will only ever run this wrapped in bubble wrap!

I could cunningly disguise a Traxxas X01 under bubble wrap and say it's my DF02 - 100mph here I come ;p

And to add to this thread.... I just purchased another F1 car courtesy of Crash Cramer in the Big 'ol U.S - He just shipped me a F104W Wolf WR1...... it's the one on a special low price on Tamiya USA but they only ship within the US, but I got one coming my waaaaaayyyy wahay to the UK.

That is true!!! Annoyingly I've also run out of spare 2.4G radio sets...... just too many cars now and I need 8 radio sets for a F104W, 2 x  F103GT's, Striker; GH2, Baja Champ, TT02, HobbyKing 2WD SCT.... Sheesh I now have 15 cars ... the wife will go mental if I do a group shot, best keep them split up around the house as is....... where did they all come from?!

I need help!

I'd better ditch the idea of adding an FF03 and an M Chassis til next year.

Edit :Forgot my FTX Outlaw, I have 16 cars :(

More annoying when one runs outta memory slots on computer TX so I've spread to multiple TXes... and now I can't ever remember which car is on which TX :P

I luckily managed to get my mitts on a Mugen body but it's strictly for shelf duty, absolute sweetness :).

For info the smallest spur I could find is part number 50506, if you find a smaller one please let me know.

I have 5 built chassis waiting on an electronics decision, it's actually quite a conundrum :(  And my sincere condolences for your loss, those cap packs made one badword of bang.

The forum changed the word which is the name of the place the people who have invisible friends think the bad people end up.  Surprising but the badword works rather well :)

Poor Chang... I always wanted an RC to have its very own TX so it could feel loved... and fulfil my goal of having them all running together.. that's yet to happen but it's why I haven't gone down the multi model memory TX road yet ;)

Will let you know Dougo if I find anything smaller but it'll be a while before these F1 cars get built, and it'll be winter soon!

Alloy hubs for the DF02 arrived, just need the chassis now and 3 hours to swap it all over groan!

What radio gear do you buy if each car has its own? I will have 4 cars able to run at once, but given the most likely way that will happen is with my son and his friends or my friends drunk i'm not sure I want to. Waiting for a flysky gt2g to arrive, was far cheaper than a new rx, it will be my first cheap set. It will no doubt be absolutley fine and I will be wondering why i wasted money on futaba

I'm guilty of having about 4 different sets across 7 cars... there's a couple of Tamiya Fine Spec 2.4g which I love as they are Tamiya but have zero steering end point adjustment so cannot limit throw.

I have a couple of   Thunder Tiger Ace Cougar 2.4g sets, a GP2 and a GP3 as I'm used to these from my 1/8 Truggy days...

I have 1 TacTic 2.4g set with the no antenna receiver... that's very nice.

Lastly I have a couple cheap Chinese 2.4g sets branded GoolRC and an identical one branded Austar... these are fantastic my cheap (£18-£20) and are what I will buy more of for my growing list.

Im sure your Fkysky will be great too.. then you can relax knowing they are so cheap to replace but yes, I'll never trust 15 other people to drive my cars all once with me! My whole reasoning has crashed around me but won't stop me ;)

It was probably sound reasoning a while ago but then 5 cars became 16 and it got a bit out of hand somewhere along the line. I could see my 7 becoming 11 when I add in the 3 I want and the 1 my son wants. Wait that means my 4 become 7 and his 3 become 4 (as I told my wife that we share the racecars so 2 of them are half his. He isn'tallowed near them).

You have added 3 f1 type since starting this thread though right? So really its all those TC'ers who are bad influenecers right?

Yes, it's their fault not mine... and Tamiya's fault for being too collectible!

Basically everyone's fault but mine as my therapist sums it up.. yes I've added 3 F1 cars but I might sell one of the F103GT's as I don't need two unless I really enjoy that chassis once the first is built and running and then want the second... but I've not got a duplicate chassis yet as that seems a waste.. unless we're talking touring cars and you want different shells ;)

How old is your son, he's a bone fida reason to collect RC's!

He is 4. When 'our' Ultima arrived he asked for a new car too. I said maybe Christmas then got him talking about what he wanted and steered him towards a Monster Beetle, always wanted one as a kid. He saw the gold wheels and was sold, so yes he is a bona fide reason to collect more! It should arrive for christmas, his present of course...
