File this one under boring but essential but I have installed a couple of esc recently and reinstalled the Rx in the dt03. I got some yellow thin foam double sided stuff from Modelsport but it's rubbish. Moment it gets hot it just stops sticking. Any recommendations on something else that will firmly and fairly permanently stick my electronics to my chassis?

Thanks!

Number plate tape I got 5m of it from ebay ages ago and it pretty much holds all my cars (not to mention my full sized cars and bikes) together, the stuff's so strong you can pick up the car by whatever component you've taped it down with and bounce it up and down quite violently and it won't come unstuck.

There is some black, thin pad, double sided servo tape.  It has the blue plastic to protect the sticky bits.

This stuff is incredibly strong and will not deteriorate if got wet.

the double-sided transparent tape with red backing is the ticket.  it's greatest attribute is when removing it comes off as one piece.  which is great if you frequently swap components between cars.  which i do a lot.

I've tried double sided Velcro.. not so great.. ok for a couple runs but it wears out quickly and never gets a great bite on whatever you're adhering.

Double sided is cool but seems to get dust and dirt inside and work it's way free.

My brother is using Shoe Goo and you can pick up his 4x4 Ecx Torment by the speed control and swing it around. Supposedly it comes off easily with a bit of heat.. I assume a blow dryer?

This site is great, I didn't even realise I needed to know this stuff. I've just been using some doublesided foam tape that my mum was throwing out when they moved house and its pretty awful but all I have. Now I know what to look for, thanks!

I use Tamiya's double sided tape, which is supplied with kits but also available in sheets of stripes separately. Sticks well, easy to remove if ever needed, doesn't leave much of a residue so no need to wipe off sticky stuff.
