What stick controller would you guys recommend to use with a 3 speed Tamiya.

Can anyone suggest one that the left stick throttles but is springy or can be converted to be springy easily.

@SuperChamp82mentioned the Futaba 4YWD with added shift gate. Something like this perhaps? https://www.stellamodels.com.hk/graphite-stick-shift-gate-futaba-4vwd-p-2798.html - I know it says for the 4VWD on the page, but I'm sure you can find something that fits (or make this fit).

4YWD product page says:

  • All channels in self-neutral (spring-loaded) for easy use with MF units or firing of main guns

Hi @Matt88 I use a Futaba T4EXA stick Transmitter for my 3 speed Tamiya Ford F350 Hi-Lift. (an older version of the Futaba 4YWD 2.4GHz Transmitter), which has a shift gate fitted similar to the one @Flerbizky mentioned. I would also recommend a shift gate if you got the more upto date Futaba 4YWD 2.4GHz Transmitter or similar. I find it really useful for changing gears and also remembering which gear I'm in lol. I don't know what make my gate is because it came already fitted to the Transmitter when I bought it second hand, but it looks exactly the same as the one in @Flerbizky link.
