Recently I have bought a lot of Wild willy items to make up another to join my other one on the shelf

in this lot there was original body which I have no idea if it's a swb or lwb the whole lot contained parts for both versions of car

take a look and see if you can help me

They are both in immaculate condition (only broken grill on the right one)

Thanks only checking if they were different

planning to sell them anyway

anyone know how much a uncracked unbroken grill will sell for ?

You can buy an after market one from Shapeways.com If you don't mind non original. As that's a WW2 roll cage and there are no hinges it shouldn't make a big difference. The shells are in nice shape do you have a price in mind.

The one on the left I did find something wrong with it the body mounting holes at the back have been expanded leaving a bigger hole

so I transferred all the parts to the second shell on the right with no damage I could find

the front grill is not broken suprisingly I don't know how rare these are to come across

I managed to find the original cage parts I have a ww2 shell as well which I will make up and sell on

What I did find with the drivers is that one has a head that splits in 2 and the other has a fixed bolt from the bottom does this class as a difference for swb and lwb ?

As for price not a clue

Pics and price?

I know these parts in good condition are quite high so unsure on the price

they are good condition except the metal clamps which will need polishing up

The bodies on the SWB and LWB are identical.
There are a list of differences on the chassis, albeit subtle to the untrained eye.
All the differences can be seen here:

I have restored a few WW's over the years, and I have two "hybrid" versions - original cars that has some parts from the early SWB version, but at the same time some later parts found on the LWB version. These are probably from the period when Tamiya transitioned from the one to the other, not wanting to be left with the older parts. This is just a theory that was discussed in these forums some years ago when I mentioned it.
