Egress front shock tower dimensions and questions

Can anybody who has an original Egress (not the re-re) give me the front shock tower dimensions, particularly the hole spacing from one another? Never having seen an original, I've been trying to see what Tamiya was "attempting" to improve with the rerelease. My guess is the elimination of the BF8/9 brackets make for a more solid lower shock mount. This also seems to lower the chassis in the front a good bit (which I don't like, I prefer the original look). I know most newer buggies tend to bottom out on the chassis at full compression (presumably to disperse the impact energy across the whole chassis vs the shocks and suspension bits). Perhaps Tamiya was attempting to modify the re-res geometry to do the same. I'm guessing the original Egress is still from the era where the buggy would bottom out on the shocks.

Let me see if I can get the measurements for you, I dont own a rere but didnt really notice a difference from the pics.

That's what I'm trying to find out. If they are the same, the re-re Egress's more angled shocks (like the Vanquish or Avante 2001) come totally from the elimination of the BF brackets which mean the re-re would ride even lower than the aforementioned buggies as they had shorter front shock towerss
