TT02B Neo Scorcher clear windows

Hi all, I will be painting up the body shell of a TT02B Neo Scorcher later this week. 

I wanted to have clear windows, rather than the external stick-on black window stickers that come with the sticker set 

Can I use the black window sticker on the inside of the shell as a mask for the opposite window? For example, use the left window sticker to mask the inside of the right window?

Anyone tried this or should I do the masking manually with tape?

You could do it with stickers, but they can sometimes leave a mess when removing them and you run the risk of damaging the paint trying to remove the glue.

I use masking film, it's like a decal sheet but lower 'tackiness'
