Blista's M-07 Concept Chassis Kit Build

Recommended Posts

That is absolutely the neatest wiring job I've ever seen! :O

How did you do that, run the wires down a spare channel in the rail or something?

Here 2 pics of my M07, hope Blista doesn´t mind posting it here

Not at all.  It's great seeing other set-ups.

The local RC club announced that they're adding the M07 with limited hop-ups to the M05/M03 Mini racing next year, so I might have to join in at last.  I've been meaning to try out the long wheelbase setting with a Mazda 2 body.

Thank you Gooney for the kind words,

I took my time when switching to Brushless to sort out a clean installation of the electronics. No secret channel involved, battery wires were already quite short on the ESC, so they come under the chassis side to the battery from below. The motor wires go above the rail on the battery, then below and to the side to the motor. Being black, they are hardlly to notice. I made a cover from a piece of styrene to make them unvisible on the rail, painted black and added a TRF sticker. Servo wires and so on are kept short to the Receiver, transponder cable is wrinkled on a screwdriver. (Don´t want to shorten it) Last mod is a cable from the esc for programming it, as the Access to the pins is not good accessable. So I made a short Extension and glued the new Access Point underneath the switch with shoegoo. So adjustment for racing is done quickly plugging the program box on the switch, instead of loosening the ESC from the chassis etc...

Br, and a Merry Christmas,

Matthias
