Krylon enamel over Hornet & RR wheels?

One quick Q. I have had success using regular enamels over old Hornet and Rough Rider wheels. Was wondering how good is the Krylon type of enamel when sprayed over these type of vintage wheels. Anybody ever used it?

I have used Krylon branded spray paint on things such as household items - picture frames, decorative items, etc... but I think I used acrylic paint ?
