markypea 0 Posted August 31, 2017 Hi there, The instructions say you have two pieces to choose from, Futaba and Acoms. Well both are way to small for my Acoms AS-12. I have another Mad Bull original and that is where I got the servo from as I put an ESC in it. That one has the servo saver on fine, I have not taken it off for fear of not getting it back on again. There are servo arms included with the kit, they fit the servo just fine, it's the servo saver part that doesn't fit. I find it hard to imagine that they accidentally put the wrong servo saver in, but given that the arms fit, it does seem the only logical explanation. I am using one of the arms at the moment, which isn't ideal as I've already broken one and have only driven the car three times! https://goo.gl/photos/8fbfhxZWrxo9ngKK9 https://goo.gl/photos/NEdnC1hGrR74eMMU9 https://goo.gl/photos/Lc2kXHE568WYFqj4A
TurnipJF 9192 Posted August 31, 2017 The Sanwa/Acoms servo saver piece is a very tight fit, and needs a good squeeze to get it on, but as long as the spline count is right, once it is on it should give no problems.
markypea 0 Posted September 1, 2017 Thanks, I read this and with new found confidence, I went down stairs last night and shoved it on. Tight fit, I still have the circular mark on my hand now 18 hours later 😕
