So I came across someone who was selling off his small Tamiya collection (4 complete cars but looks like at least another one in roller form) the guy had not messed with them in some time and wanted to sell the lot... but then spoke of spare parts he was going to list separately as well. I was the only one who inquired on any of the stuff and we worked out a deal for everything he had minus the old Airtronic radios he had for the cars and a box of brushed motors (ive got too many of both so not really interested in those). Turns out the cars the guy had he actually raced them some and got really into it.... so much so that all the spares he had........ were hop up option spares for each car. The cars themselves look to be tastefully modded and from the pics he sent.......... man I might have hit the jackpot. So this AM he texted me with a pic of the shipping receipt and caption "Their on their way!" and on the receipt it showed 3 separate boxes being shipped to me totaling 51.25lbs!!!

teaser of the pics he sent me...... notice color of chassis on bottom left in pic #2..... not sure if its the same one as pic #1 or another one........ if it's two of them then that's 4 LW chassis in total... edit* in looking at the pics it looks like it is two different LW chassis....

Hey now, the guy isn't a sucker he just wasn't into RCs or Tamiya anymore. The guy was a nice guy and knew he sent me a really low offer but was glad they were going to someone who would take care of them....

I had this elaborate plan on what to do but I don't know now.... I think 1st thing is to make back what I put into this, then decide what to do from there

I am..... the TL01 is nice, no speed tuned gears in it, but it has the cf gear and prop shaft, and the light weight chassis (pretty rare now a days), light weight king pins and quick release battery upgrade along with front cvds.... it had front and rear cvds but I cannibalized a pair and the extra cf prop shaft to complete my shelf queen TL01..... and now it's 100% complete! There's enough to build two more tl01s minus a couple bits which I might have anyways.... same goes for the f103 and the ta02 (might be able to make 2 extras)...

Wow !!!!!! That s the most  impressive buy I ve ever seen ! Well done ! 

If ever you plan on selling any of the brushed motors and brushed esc pm me I ll put them to good use on my ta04's.

You talking the ta02 motor mount? Want an actual Tamiya brand or will any do? I have two non Tamiya ones sitting in my desk drawer too...

Any will do,  it's for a runner Baja 150.  I prefer to buy from the US.

Let me know,  I'll probably get both if you want to let them go.
