My TBG McLaren F1 is 210mm WB but won't clear the front shock on the M03, looking at your M01 that has a pretty low single shock, the M02 copies this I think? 

Also your comparison photo shows the M05 shocks also look like the sit lower than the M03, would you think it's marginal or it's significant? ( Think a Lancia Strato low nose shell, that is what I'm trying to fit with my McLaren)

Then your photo also shows the M06 front shocks look lower than the M03 too, could you guess how much.. I need my shell low as possible

Yes the 01 doesn't have a tall front.   This is the only naked pic I have in my account.  It has 55d tires and it isn't too much higher than them.   Tell me how you would like me to take measurements and I will get them for you off the 01 and 06 sometime today. 

The 05 tower is still fairly high.   I had to "massage" the blitz body to get it low enough on it by heating and forming bumps in the hood and it still sat on the shock tower. 

I haven't opened the 02, and don't know when I will get around to building it.  I picked up my novafox right before it was discontinued the first time and finished it probably a month or two before the re release was announced.

That M01 sounds perfect, if you mean the front body posts start pretty much just above the tyre line....... to show you my problem here are some photo's showing my M03, the shell I want to fit, and how the shell fits on the lowest body post hole available.... as you can see the body posts don't allow the shell to sit low enough.... but even if they did the front tower gets in the way of the sloping bonnet

McLaren shell sat on the lowest hole.... it's still too high above the wheels (rear posts removed for photo)

The shell is resting on both the lowest body post hole and the front shock tower
