Hello All,

OK so after buying my LB for £40 last month I have since brought another midnight pumpkin which needs work and last night brought another LB that needs work.

They have all been way under what they are worth but broken in one way or another, so idea is just to repair and sell on or keep depending on my mood.

I sold off my TL-01 I had as I am just not into the road stuff and by the time I had brought the bits to convert to off road I may have well brought a new car.

Hoping for a full buggy kit for Christmas

I have the bug!

You haven't caught the full blown bug because you are already thinking of selling them on, it's when you get one model, find out it shares parts with another model (as you have done with these two I think) and then decide to buy more of the same to have a variation of each one... be it 2wd, 4wd, on-road/off-road, red/yellow etc.

Then you notice another cool car out of nowhere that comes with a few spare parts...... , you buy that one and then find out it shares parts with another car so you buy that too..... because you already have some spares for it.......... and that's our groundhog day.

If left untreated  you will be up to 7 cars like Jonathan, or 15 odd like me, or more like some other poor souls on here..... then the bug is terminal... enjoy ;p

What about if you don't have any that share parts but you're still up to 6 (not counting my boys 2)?

Is there some sort of therapy available?

Then you soon arrive at 30. Wondering which car you like least to sell so you can justify the car you just bought that shares parts with the favorite that is on the shelf because even though you love running it youve modded it now to the point its almost to fast to run safely.... Oh and then your taste gets more expensive.  Ooo carbon Fiber or FRP chassis.  Lol enjoy. It's cheaper than drugs or other women.

Just wait until you lose a bit of impetus, sell some stuff to fund some other hobbies and then come back to your rc's and end up buying the same stuff you sold but at a higher price and not feeling that bad about it.

my most recent strategy is to call any large box that comes in the mail a "parts car"....because we have to fix that part that broke when my son was driving through the mud....it's purely for quality father-son time!
