why cant i get roby,s video,s to work?

well call me a dunce, but i,ve been trying for ages now to download some of the vintage video clips on roby,s old tamiya site, but i can,t do it?.

should they work through the media player?. i,ve tried down loading the program roby says their encoded with, but that doesn,t work either. i,ve even tried downloading them as files, that seems to work initially but about halfway through it all freezes up.

i haven,t got a clue about this sort of thing, so anyone got any advise?. anyone got any of their own anywhere else on the net that i can watch?.
