Long term eBay member fro USA but hasn't sold anything in years with only 40 feedback and multiple listings for this sort of item.

My guess is no error but a hacked account. Almost as scam as the Tamiya brushless motors that were selling for £12 the other month which never turned up for people.

Treadmills at the same price.

My guess is its a scam and the price (in whatever the original currency was) is the limit of what tends to be refunded to the buyer but not investigated too strongly towards the scammer in the country of origin.

edit, 4 week delivery and seems to be 200 chinese yuan.

I think it’s worth a go. You never know your luck and you’ll get a refund.

I do wonder why people bother with these 'too good to be true' things on Ebay.

I know you'll get your money back due to Ebay/Paypal protection rules, but you do realise that this is why Ebay/Paypal take the fees they do, to cover losses they can't recover and still make money.

If people didn't bother, Ebay/Paypal fees would be lower, and things would be a bit cheaper for all of us buying from legitimate shops on Ebay. All you end up doing is giving money to a fraudster who if they are doing their job right will have it withdrawn somewhere where it can't be recovered by Ebay, Paypal or the Bank.

Not only that but you're giving your email / paypal account details to someone with zero feedback, located  goodness knows where.

Yup, pretty much sums it up - Seller's had no ebay history for 1 year plus so chances are it's a hacked account and they'll get a few quid before they're shut down
As well as  your cash, they also now have your email address, a delivery/residential address and an inkling you might be ripe for a scam - Proper result; The Nigerian princes must be well jealous of them

Ok Ok. Andy and co, I think it’s time to stop having a go at the dimwit.

So sometimes I do things on impulse which go wrong, i’m a very late starter at this internet thing and on a need to know basis. I’m what’s called “thick”. I can make stuff with my hands but I think the modern term is educationally challenged or has learning difficulties.

Anyways, I’m always making mistakes and bumping up eBay fees wasn’t in my head. Or perhaps it’s because I have to take 6 morphine tablets a day just so I can walk. That tends to muddle your brain.

I’m not trying to sell a sob story, and the last thing I want is any pity, but how about giving me a break?

Just sometimes these punts pay off and you get a huge pat on the back. Not often mind.

Live and learn is all you can do.
