Cross racing Mercedes CLR body set

Anybody have pictures of one of these painted. Trying to get an idea for how good it is as far as scale and dimensions.

That actually does look good - quite stylistically similar to Tamiya's other F103-based Le Mans prototypes, which is nice.

... And probably much less inclined to take flight!

Is it just me or does it seem out of proportion in width compared with the real life clk ??? Too wide I mean ?

it could prob be 1-2 inches longer

That is what I mean by "stylistically similar" - the Le Mans bodies for the F103 are all a little wider than what is proportional, and probably due to the wide track of the F103. Looking at Tamiya's GT-One and Porsche 911 GT1 LM next to the real cars confirms this, and this CLR seems no exception. It looks a little odd at first, but it does have charm...
