Hi

im in need of great assistance! I’ve got a Kyosho Sandmaster MK2 I think I purchased the car in 1998, two gears have stripped, I think it’s called a clutch bell housing and spur gear. The clutch part is 14T and the spur gear (if it’s called that) is 53T. Does anyone have any advice where to find these parts as the vehicle is so old?

thanks for any help!

Paul

You have a link that works. Hold your finger on an imgur link. It’ll give you a copy link choice. Tap that and use the insert other media button on here. Paste the link in Insert image from url. That should post the picture on here.

Let me know when your done.

You need to look for parts 'Kyosho SMxx'

SM15 is a spur gear, but whether its the same size as the one you have fitted i don;t know.  There seems to be no manual available online to help either.

SM28 is another spare part bag with some gears.

But do you know where I can find some 20 year old parts 😂

Oh that! 😂

If you can find a part number on internet manuals, I use a guy called Kyoshospares on eBay. He’s a really friendly guy.

Searched for a manual with no luck, contacted the Europe spares supplier with no response as yet, just messeged that guy on eBay, contacted many a model repair place, done plenty of googling etc I’m just not giving up as yet 😬 she will run again, plus I’m literally in the middle of a rebuild so I’ll be Plenty of £ down if she doesn’t run again 😂 I was setting up the carb when it went
