For months I've been on the hunt for a genuine sunroof for my SRB Ranger, things had got desperate to the point that I'd searched out a local company that produced ABS sheets in a near matching blue & was going to try and make one.

This week I'd been sorting out the garage and was looking at a pair of original Blackfoot shells sat on the shelf when I noticed that the sunroof on one didn't fit correctly and had clearly been painted. Upon closer inspection I managed to unstick the glue and remove it, a quick rub underneath to remove some of the paint and low and behold it was blue, an original Ranger sunroof! The holy grail!!!

After soaking with a combination of safe paint removers it was then polished up with Xerapol and it looked immaculate. Slotted into place on the Ranger it now fills the hole that was driving my OCD wild! I can finally sleep easy... till I start on the next project 😁
