Vrooom666 31 Posted October 15, 2017 as titled... which is better/stronger? Tamiya 53200 4WD Front One-Way Diff Unit VS Tamiya 53071 Manta Ray Torque Splitter ? do they work in same way? I have top force with manta ray diffs (for ease of maintenance and i dont really like ball diff)
Tizer 606 Posted October 15, 2017 The Torque Splitter is a centre one-way, meaning it sits between the propshaft and idlergears in the front gearbox. The One-Way Diff Unit is a replacement internals for the front diff. So they do work a little differently. With the Torque Splitter you can still choose to have some differential workings in the front, while with the one-way diff the front diff will become a spool while on throttle.
