1. Look up/Measure exact wheelbase of LB-shell.
2. Measure current wheelbase of M01.
3. If both wheelbases are equal, proceed. If not, fab up something so that wheelbases match up. Proceed to step 4
4. Construct something of a body mounting system. Something involving either velcro to the sides, or really long body posts.
5. Success!

BTW: While you could use an M01 for this, realize that any part of that car is getting rare and difficult to get. Things like body posts and such are bespoke to that chassis, and are getting expensive. Also, a LB-shell is really narrow, so the wheels will probably stick out of the wheel wells.

Longer body posts might work... Though M01/M02 posts are fairly thin and will probably bend/snap under the weight of an LB shell.

Maybe see if you can use one of the holes in the side of the main pod to just some generic botom-mount body posts out to the side, and drill the shell accordingly?

I might make rig that sticks the body posts out side ways using the same holes so I don't have to drill any

Buy some TL01 or Wild Willy2 body posts, heat them up & bend them to suit to the mounting points on the Lunchbox shell.

I would consider max's advice with heating and bending body posts to match the holes in the body.

My girlfriend used a set of Tamiya body mount extensions to put this van body on top of my TT02 chassis.

She left the body posts in their original location on the chassis, and drilled the new body to match the posts with extensions on them. With the extended length of the body posts, her poly-carbonate body really jiggles around and needs extra support at the posts. I imagine that the heavier LB body on the smaller diameter M-chassis posts would really need some support, and wouldn't suggest using the extensions because of this.

I've ordered a set of body posts

to see if I can shape them hopefully they won't be too wobbly if they are ill make up a rig to sit low on the original body post without any modifications to the chassis

Easiest way is to use 2mm x 15mm flat aluminium bar and heavy duty velcro.

You drill the bar so it utilises the existing body posts and slots over, then bend the bar to shape to touch the sides or top of the shell.

Doublesided self adhesive heavy duty velcro then makes the perfect way to attach it. This velcro is great for fixing all sorts of things from bodies to radio gear and ESCs.
