Hello,

Just bought a re-re with ESC (Bush Devil 2) and need to know can I use my wheel controllers from Kyosho Mini Z cars? they have ESC as well but will need to get a steering servo.

I have two old sets of Beat 202 sticks, can I use the servos from them? Prefer the boys to learn on wheels if possible.

If I need just servos whats best value to get (not looking for best, just something sensible priced with reasonable quality)

Thanks in advance.

In addition to the wheel hand controller (the transmitter) you will also need a matching / compatible receiver for the transmitter to go in the car as well as a servo and a Speed Control..

I was talking to the model shop I got my ballraces for the Neo Scorcher and the Bush Devil from and was on phone for about 20 minutes getting info on all I need. He reckons with the mini Z having an inbuild ESC and receiver for such small motors that they wont work.

Better bet would be the old BEAT 202 I have from way back when. he says will only know when I try to plug the receiver and steering servo into the newer ESC's if they work great if not then a good basic kit with receiver and steering servo is £35

I have my old Sanwa sets from the 90s and I couldn't get them to work with the TBLE-02S ESC which came in my TT02B kits.  No idea why, the hobby shop couldn't work it out either but since then I've never had a problem with my new Futaba, Sanwa or Flysky gear.  Hopefully you can get the old gear working but like he says, a new set is really cheap these days.
