I am looking at spring sets for my TA07 to give some tuning options. The car comes with medium all round. How often do you have the same on both ends? I see a lot of setup sheets with different srpings at each end.

The sets have soft, med, hard, extra hard in them.

Am i better to buy 2 sets or just buy 1 set as i wouldn't have the same on both ends at any one time anyway?

Do you know the Tamiya part numbers for the springs you are looking at ?

I have several packs of NIP Tamiya Hop-Up springs in different grades.

53440 is the normal set, but 49382 is better as its the same set in white, which matches the kit springs.

OK, here is what I have - 2 NIP packs of each :

53636 - Ultra Hard / 53635 - Super Hard / 53633 TRF Short Ex-Hard / 53630 TRF Short - Soft / 53632 TRF Short - Hard / 53631 TRF Short - Medium

4 NIP packs of 53333 Touring Car Tuned - Short ( 3 pr - Soft / Medium / Stiff )

1 NIP pack of each of the following :

53440 On Road Tuned Hard Spring set - 4 pairs : Red - Soft / Yellow - Medium / Blue - Stiff / White - Extra Stiff

49240 - Red - Soft / 49241 - Yellow - Medium / 49242 - Blue - Hard : These are labelled as Matched Spring Set and there are 4 springs in each pack

Drop me a PM if any of that it of interest to you.

Are you on asphalt or carpet?   Are you using standard touring springs?  Are you limited to only Tamiya springs?

I'm on carpet but it would be nice if I could change the setup to asphalt. I'm not limited to Tamiya springs like some classes in the USA but was going to stick to them as the kit came with 4 medium and I figure tgat springs will be different across brands. They are standard springs as far as I know, the kit cones with the TRF dampers which aren't short or big bore.

Tamiya 53440 would fit to give an indication
