Anyone know a link to a decent history? I did find and read one but wondered if there are others out there. This was very interesting as it detailed the kits available when I was involved ( Boomerang, Thundershot & Pumpkin)

However I would love to read on about what the evolutions were with pics & reviews of the kits from then till now.

Have just got reintroduced to the hobby as my boys (12 & 6) were starting to use my Mini Z kits that i both raced and bashed about 10-15 years ago. It pulled on my grey matter enough to look out my old kits and as none are RTR I have a look on gumtree and picked up a Neo Scorcher that just needed batteries.

Any links? May be worth locking a topic showing the links if they are good for new returners like me?

Thanks in advance

Just spent most of the day reading the first link I posted properly going into all the sub links on all the Buggy models. includes numerous rebuild threads, photos and videos I have square eyes but was so interesting.

This is what you need:  https://www.amazon.com/Master-Modeler-Creating-Tamiya-Style/dp/4770028512/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1511115988&sr=1-1&keywords=master+modeler&dpID=41Hs9%2B6Yj-L&preST=_SY291_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_&dpSrc=srch

What's funny is Tamiya USA was giving these away for free a few years ago with every purchase over $50 or $75.  I have a copy and it's a very good read.
