Hello,

I just aquired a Super Champ. It was in amny pieces once I assembled it I noticed the front end does not have tabs for the lights. DOes my super champ have maybe a SS front end? I can get pictures if needed.

sounds like your tabs have been removed at some point. while the RR and SS have slightly different uprights to the SC, they still come with the tab to mount the lights. your best bet is buy another set.

OK I feel really dumb. I have been in this hobby since the release of the Frog and missed this. After looking closer at the front end I did notice some one filed off the tabs. Thanks for listening to me. Here is a link to the SC. I just threw it together to see what parts I needed the restore is going to start soon.

Again thank you for your time.

P.S if you know where I could find a sticker pack for the Wild Willy or Super Champ let me know thanks again

Hi Ed:

I found that the SC seems to have a most robust steering system then the other SRBs. More durable tie-rods and ends plus a better servo saver.

IMHO

I agree, I used the Superchamp servo saver and tierods on my runner rough rider. It's well worth it to upgrade this area.

I've got a Rough Rider and the servo saver has just broken.

Getting hold of a replacement doesn't look too easy.

How difficult is it to fit a Superchamp servo saver as you have done?

Thanks to the great advice from J3cubfan and shodog.

The Super Champ servo saver is indeed a direct fit for the Rough Rider.

My baby is back on the road! (well off the road -you know what I mean).

The flea market was in Maynard Mass. It also came with a Pajero with a

new set of tires as well. Everytime I drive past a yard sale I have

trouble driving becasue I am trying to see if there are any Tamiyas.
