Ok, so...

Watching Redbull TV with the boy and they had a film about the T16 Raid. I need one in my life and due to the fact I am a normal person I will never own a real one.

My mind goes back to my unfinished MF01x project and I think that would be the perfect chassis so I just need a shell.

So where do I get a 205 T16 shell?

These are 190mm (TBG) and 205mm (Kamtec) wheelbase, best to try squeeze the Kamtec one if either to fit the MF01's 210mm but that is going to very tight, you might run out of wheel arch!

Will the bodyshell make this the least reliable rc car ever? My 205 GTi pretty much bankrupted me at uni...

No you would have to fit a Peugeot 407 shell for that.  My friend had one as a company car and at one stage the fault computer display had a page down icon there was so much wrong with it, then the fault computer itself broke down lol.  Then there was the time it lowered all four windows by itself... while he was sitting in it as it was going threw the car wash .  Then at less than 4 years old the DMF and injectors went, the lease company took it back and scrapped it and gave him  a Mondeo

A friend of mine had a MG Metro which made Alonso's McLaren Honda look like a model of reliability, let alone your Peugeots.

It was so bad that after 4 months of ownership the AA cancelled his breakdown cover! Fortunately the local AA patrolman lived locally so he'd drop by my mate's place on his way to and from work. It was a fun little car when it was going well (both times ;) ) but it destroyed most of its original electrics, ate brakes, periodically leaked fuel and bits would randomly fall off. He ended up rebuilding a lot of the car and got it running reasonably well but eventually he got fed up and bought a Golf GTI.

I had an MG metro and a 405 SRI. Metro was a quick first car but rotted fast, 405 was a rocket ship and fantastic to drive.

6R4 shell needed at some point, why do Tamiya not do a group B range, they would sell like hot cakes...

My dad had a 309 GTi, 405 GL4x4, 405 SRi and 405 Mi16.  All excellent cars, that said they were all bought either new or ex demo.  Then Peugeot started making poo so he bought an ST24 Mondeo
