Ford GT Pacific Theater

OK, last one for awhile. 200mm HPI Ford GT painted with Tamiya AS paints from the can on the inside. Used blu tac to mask the soft blend line between the colors. I'm not sold on the wing as the car has nice lines without it. But hey, race cars have wings right?

Very nice. The body lines sweep backwards, and the spoiler offsets those lines, but I could deal with it. 

I've noticed that you don't show any body posts. Are the bodies just sitting on top for the photo, or do you have a super secret body mounting system?

No body mounts. Most of what I build/paint I don't drive. I have messed around with the magnetic mounts but in many cases the mount is to tall to fit correctly.

I love that.  I do prefer it without the wing.  Nicely done.

The Tamiya AS paint sticks to lexan without flaking off?

They do stick but this has never been run. The TS paints will flake right off.
