Hi RC4wd.com may have some but I just use 80 turn and higher motors they work great in cc01 chassis.

Hi Steve. It's for my Pajero. I have a 55t Axial motor in it at the moment. Would a 80t be much different from that. Thanks mate. (Derek aka Holly Hill RC :D)

Hi man, the 80T is much slower than a 55 turn for sure, I used to run 55T in my cc01 trucks in my very old videos and they where to fast for trailing 80T are much better . :D

if slow is what you want you can even go higher than the 80T I think they make 100T crawler motors.

The HPI reduction box is a 7.41:1 ratio. It will really make the CC01 creep. (If that's what you are going for.)

Xtraspeed makes a 3:1 planetary reduction that works very well - I have 3 of them. It will bring the CC down to about a walking pace. Seems to be a much better quality than the RC4WD units.

Be aware with either that they will push the motor back and require trimming of the battery box a bit.

@OldSchoolRC1 Thanks for your reply. I hadn't heard of the Xtraspeed before. I am now probably going to try an 80t motor to start with and see how I get on, as it is the cheaper and simplest option.

I will look into the Xtraspeed for future projects though.

Thanks again :)

As a bonus, you don't have to modify the battery tray to fit the 80T motor like you'd have to do fit the reduction unit

I threw an 80T in my CC-01. I haven't tested it much but I can already say I'm VERY impressed and glad that I went that route instead of figuring out a gear reduction unit. Much easier to install and the level of control is off the charts.
